My summer was probably a typical summer. We went to the Shuswap lake and rented a house, which was probably the best part of the summer. It was hot there, but the lake wasn't really hot, and when we went on the boat, the wind was cold too. Our friend was afraid of fish, but I think she believed us when we told that fish are more afraid of us. The only bad things were that we didn't have a beach, just pointy rocks, and there were tons of stairs to get to the beach.

Like most people that live in Fort McMurray, we went to Edmonton. One day we shopped, and shopped, and shopped, and shopped. Luckily I got a few things out of it, besides my sore legs. we were camping and it was hard to sleep. There was a lot a dogs barking and a few coyotes.

Two weeks in the summer I went to camp. One of them was really big, and the other was really small. I liked the smaller one better. I learned a lot though, and I want to go to that camp next year.

The last week of the summer I went to Calgary by myself. I went to see my friend and I was super happy!!!! The weather was great and my mom had to reschedule my braces appointment. Overall, my summer was awesome. I hope my next summer is as good.
